Briat Insurance is proud to have provided a donation of one thousand dollars to the Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman for their ‘Home School Lunch Programme’. The Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman teamed up with the Department of Education and Feed our Future to ensure that all students they currently support in their ‘Buy a Kid Breakfast’ programme, as well as other children at risk, receive hot meals or Foster’s Supermarket vouchers during school closures and even after.
The Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman has been helping kids in the community since 1975. The Kiwanis Club objectives include giving primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life, encouraging the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships and promoting the adoption and the application of higher social, business, and professional standards.
The organisation helps the youth and community to develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent and serviceable citizenship, as well as provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships. Their goal is to render altruistic service and to build better communities and to cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and good will. These are very strong objectives being instilled in the Cayman community through the Kiwanis Club that Briat also believes in and is proud to support.
